Guardamar, with its renowned sandy beaches and pine forests, is a 10 minute drive away, as is the town of Torrevieja. A short stroll from the duplex takes you to a choice of bars, restaurants and shops, as well as a supermarket and bank. There is a good bus service to take you to the beach at Guardamar, the city of Alicante or the main tourist town of Torrevieja. Quesada also has a good range of restaurants and shops. It also has its own golf course, La Marquesa, as well as a small Aqua Park. A car is recommended to explore the rest of the Costa Blanca.

For golfers, the La Marquesa Golf Course is a 5 minute drive, with 4 other courses within a 20 minute drive. The world famous La Manga is a 30 minute drive away. There are other courses being built in the area.
