Called the sunshine state and best known for some of the most fantastic theme parks in the world. Attractions include: Disney World, especially The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios, Sea World, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios, not to mention the fabulous water parks where there is fun for all the family.

On the Central West Gulf Coast you will find some of the most fabulous beaches - and uncrowded too. Sarasota is an excellent family resort, Naples has a slightly more upmarket feel. Newport Richey and Hudson offer plenty of accommodation, good beaches and boat hire for fishing, diving or visiting offshore islands. The northernmost section is known as the nature coast - visit the Crystal River to watch the manatees.

On the East Coast, you can visit the Kennedy Space Centre, which provides a fascinating insight into the world of space travel & our knowledge of outer space. The Atlantic coast also has some excellent beaches.

Miami/Miami Beach & the Keys - At the southern end of Florida - Miami Beach is what most people come for and it doesn't disappoint - bars & restaurants along Ocean Drive spill out onto the pavement against a backdrop of outstanding art-deco architecture. People watching makes this the best show in town. The beach is long & wide with the Atlantic waves rushing in. Miami to Palm Beach (relaxation for the rich & famous) is known as the gold coast - practically one endless beach. The Everglades (Florida's National Park) - essentially a giant shallow river, teeming with wildlife, especially Alligators. The Keys - Stretching out into the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico, this is a chain of islands with 100miles of Highway 1 skimming across land and water. Key West is the most vibrant, Hemingway House one of the most atmospheric Victorian houses worth visiting.

All in all, a great place for all the family.
